I configured the tBase to a transmission channel. Why can't Configsoft find a mouse telemeter for pairing?

The MT110 tBase uses inductive wireless technology to power the mouse telemeter. The internal circuit of tBase has four inductor coils, one of which is activated based on telemeter position on the tBase. A consistent communication and feedback between tBase and mouse telemeter is necessary to detect and activate the nearest coil.

Since the mouse telemeter does not have a battery, it cannot be detected unless it is on the same channel as a tBase.

As a consequence, if the tBase channel is changed first, the telemeter is not powered reliably and detection by ConfigSoft is intermittent. Therefore, we recommend changing the telemeter Channel first followed by tBase Channel.

Pairing new telemeter and tBase:
All new telemeters and tBases are initially shipped on "Setup" Channel. To ensure smooth pairing between telemeter and tBase while changing the transmission channel:
1. Place telemeter in the center of the tBase. tBase status light will turn green.
2. Use ConfigSoft to change the Channel of the telemeter to a data collection Channel (Ch 1-40). The tBase light will turn orange.
3. Use ConfigSoft to change the Channel of the tBase to match the Channel of the telemeter. The status light should now turn green.

Pairing new telemeter with an old tBase:
Use ConfigSoft to change the Channel of tBase to "Setup". Then follow the steps (1-3) described above.
