How can I migrate my GLP Server from one computer to another?

If you wish to change the computer that hosts your ADInstruments GLP server software, please follow these steps

1. Install GLP Server 6.0 on the new server
2. Stop the GLP Service
3. Copy the GLPService_CURRENT.gcf file from the existing server (this can be found under Application / Program Data > ADInstruments > GLP Server)
4. Update DNS so it points to the new server
5. Start the GLP Service on the new server
6. Before removing the old Server, ensure that users can still open and sign files under GLP, to ensure that the new configuration is working.
