Millar Catheters

Millar Mikro-Tip® solid state catheters with pressure sensor(s) provide high-fidelity cardiovascular pressures (the heart and vascular system) at the source in small animals. These catheters are ideal for intrauterine, intracranial and arterial blood pressure monitoring, amongst other research applications.

Instruments

Millar offers two-channel amplifier/interface units to support either animal research or human pressure applications.

Animal Models
The Millar Pressure System (MPS-2000) acts as an interface between either one dual-pressure, or two single-pressure Mikro-TipTM pressure catheters, an Instrument Interface and LabChart analysis software option.

Human Applications
The Pressure Signal Conditioner1 (PCU-2000) is designed to connect one or two Mikro-CathTM pressure catheters2 to an Instrument Interface and LabChart analysis software option in a clinical research environment where patient isolation is

ADInstruments Bridge Amps are single-channel or multi-channel, non-isolated bridge amplifiers designed to allow a C Series Front End Interface or traditional PowerLab to connect to most DC bridge transducers.

Accessories

Product Code MLA1052

The pressure gauge and accessories are ideal for calibrating conventional fluid-filled or Millar Mikro-Tip® pressure transducers.

Product Code TC-510

A passive interface between catheter and a strain gauge amplifier, connects to any Bridge Amp with supplied monitor cable.

A range of catheter interface cables compatible with Millar Mikro-Tip pressure catheters.

A hand-held pressure transducer simulator and tester, provides a quick and easy verification and/or calibration of pressure transducers.

An elastic adjustable wrist strap that protects static sensitive devices during handling by connecting the handler to a grounded source, hence allowing any harmful electrostatic charges to be safely dissipated.
