Try Before You Buy: Experience LabChart 6 with Free LabChart Reader

With the release of Version 6.1, LabChart is now firmly established as the ultimate software for life science researchers and educators. The long list of LabChart 6 features is enhanced by its companion software, LabChart Reader. LabChart Reader is a free application for both Windows and Mac operating systems that enables users to view and analyze LabChart (or Chart) data files.
As well as making it easy to share your data with colleagues and students, LabChart Reader gives PowerLab customers with earlier versions of Chart a chance to see and use the new features that make LabChart 6 our most powerful and advanced software yet – before you buy an upgrade.
New features you’ll find in LabChart Reader include:
 More channels and calculations – LabChart Reader can display up to 16 channels of recorded data, and use an additional 16 channels to perform and display channel calculations – a total of 32 channels, or twice the channels available in any previous version of Chart. Additionally, you will be able use new and more powerful channel calculations.
Advanced display and analysis - LabChart Reader offers the same display and analysis features available in LabChart 6, including the Zoom View and Overlay options, and access to LabChart's internal spreadsheet, Data Pad, for automated extraction of data and statistical analysis
Longer recordings with more data – LabChart for Windows file size is now only limited by your computer's disk space and performance. To support reviewing and analysis of these longer, more complex files, maximum channel compression in the Chart View of both LabChart and LabChart Reader has been increased from 2k:1 to 20k:1, and Cyclic Measurement performance has been improved for longer files.
Optimized performance on the most advanced computers – LabChart 6 and LabChart Reader have been designed for use with the latest technology for both Windows and Macintosh environments, meaning your laboratory can take advantage of the most powerful processors and largest memories on the market. For Windows, this means peak performance on XP and both 32 and 64-bit editions of Vista. For Mac, LabChart and LabChart Reader are our first Universal Binary applications, meaning they provide native performance on Intel and Power PC Macs.
New, Easy-to-Use Layout – LabChart Reader is an excellent way to see and try the new layout and toolbar that makes accessing functions in LabChart easier than ever before. You can customize the icons included in the toolbar to make sure that the functions and tools that you use the most are always easy to find.
View Your Own Recordings, or Download Our Sample Data Files
Existing PowerLab users can open and view their own Chart data files in LabChart Reader. You can also download any of our sample data files, and experience LabChart’s new features by viewing data including simultaneous rat pressure-volume recording and spikes recorded from brain slices.
